Frédérique Cournoyer Lessard


Passionate about movement and the screen, Frédérique Cournoyer Lessard is a circus artist and director of dance films.



Having studied at the National Circus School of Montreal and at Concordia University in film production, Frédérique Cournoyer Lessard works on the narrative power of circus gesture, on stage as well as in the cinema. After experiencing a real international success with her films Pas and Rue de la Victoire (more than 75 selections in festivals around the world), Frédérique performs a return on stage as a performer. Specializing in contortion and aerial hoop, she created her number with the collaboration of Nadia Richer, Patricia Messier and Julie Lachance (National Circus School, Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Éloize).
